Tara is a first-year Ph.D student in CBE. She grew up in the Bay Area and received her B.S. in Chemical Engineering from UC Berkeley in 2024. As an undergraduate, she worked under Dr. Jeffrey Reimer where she studied carbon capture in bio-inspired metal-organic frameworks. Her current work focuses on integrated CO2 capture and photocatalytic conversion in zeotype materials. Outside the lab, Tara enjoys reading, crocheting, taking long walks, and listening to musicals.
